British urban adventure label Griffin and heritage US outdoor brand Woolrich got together to give us the finest parkas and anoraks. The capsule seeks to merge Woolrich’s technical features with Griffin’s urban aesthetic, updating and revising Woolrich’s iconic pieces.
The design studio led by Jeff Griffin reinterpreted two classic outerwear pieces for modern wear: the Atlantic Parka and the Smock Anorak.
Established in 1994 the outerwear design studio moved from London to a true sustainable lifestyle eco retreat hotel called Loveland Farm.
The whole collection is based on reversible styles and therefore offers a distinct two-in-one look with every jacket. The reverse side of both versions combines the Woolrich Buffalo Check and Griffin’s signature orange lining. Each piece is waterproof, breathable and features the type of craftsmanship you expect from Woolrich and Griffin. You can rest assured that the performance capabilities of the outerwear were put to the test at Loveland Farm, the site on England’s rugged Atlantic Coast where Griffin is headquartered.
The unisex pieces will be offered in a limited run of 1830 pieces globally, paying homage to the year of Woolrich’s founding.
